And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way. Ephesians 1:22-23

The ‘his’ in this chapter is of course Jesus. This verse tells us clearly the position of Jesus within the church.The verse then goes on to describe the identity and therefore the role of the church based out of the headship of Christ.

We are meant to be the fullness of him, who fills everything in every way.

So, if Christ fills everything in everyway and we are the fullness of him, then what should we do? – FILL EVERYTHING IN EVERYWAY!

Its our job to live out our lives everywhere we are. There is no room for a sacred/secular divide. Either the gospel was meant to transform the entire world or it wasnt. We can’t confine it to the areas that are comfortable and convenient to us.

How are we partnering with Jesus to fill everything in everyway today?
