Today’s post is inspired by a short quote I just read from Louie Giglio.
We all know that we are worshippers at our core, that’s a question that has been answered by theologians and cultural commentators for years. However, the bigger question is around what me have ascribed our worship to; is it God, or something else? And maybe the biggest question of all is how can we identify that, because most believers I know wouldn’t knowingly devote their worship to anyone but the Father.
This is where this quote is so helpful.
So how do you know where and what you worship? It’s easy. You simply follow the trail of your time, your affection, your energy, your money and your loyalty. At the end of that trail you’ll find a throne; and whatever, or whomever, is on that throne is what’s of highest value to you. On that throne is what you worship.

Wow- I think this is brutally helpful
